Painted Polish

Painted Polish “Mer-maid It to the Pier”

I am seriously kicking myself for letting this shade sit on my polish shelf for SO. LONG. This beautiful periwinkle-purple from Painted Polish was an exclusive shade made for Polish Con September 2017, held at the Navy Pier in Chicago.

Mer-maid It to the Pier has a light purple or periwinkle creme base, tiny white microglitters, some scattered holographic glitters, and stunning multichrome metallic flakies. This is a very busy polish, but it embodies the essence of a mermaid SO perfectly! Here is a close-up shot of this shade.

These photos were taken in natural outdoor lighting in direct sunlight. The way that the sun catches the multichrome metallic flakies is just STUNNING. I’m actually convinced these are REAL mermaid scales. I don’t know where Painted Polish found their mermaid source, but if you’re looking for a true mermaid polish, this one should be at the top of your list!

This was my first polish from Painted Polish, and I’m so impressed by the quality and excellent formula. I will definitely be trying more shades from this brand in the future!
