Fancy Gloss “There is A Doll In My Pocket”

This month I picked up this gorgeous thermal from Polish Pickup’s ’90’s theme. This shade was inspired by Polly Pocket, so I knew I had to have it! Polly Pockets were my go-to favorite toy as a kid.

New to Polish Pickup? Every month, PPU has a theme voted on by fans. Tons of indie makers then create a polish inspired by that theme. You can order as many shades from any maker participating that month for a flat rate of $3 shipping in the U.S. You can learn more about PPU on their website here!

“There is A Doll In My Pocket” is an ethereal white to mauve-purple thermal with an intense bright green shimmer. Here’s a close-up of this shade mid-transition.

In its warm state, this polish is a gorgeous, shimmery white. The green shimmer pops beautifully.

In its cold state, this polish is a mauve-toned purple. Again, the green shimmer pops incredibly!

In direct sunlight, this polish glows! This photo was taken on my iPhone while the polish was in mid-transition.

This was my first polish from Fancy Gloss, and I have already ordered more from this brand! I am so impressed with the unique green shimmer and the quality of the formula and thermal in general. Did this shade catch your eye during this month’s Polish Pickup, too?!
