Back in the day, this shade from OPI was one of my very first holographic polishes! I think I purchased this shade before I even really knew what “holo” was. I searched high and low for this color before paying top dollar for it on eBay, but I have recently seen several of the OPI DS shades, including this one, at stores like TJ Maxx and Marshalls.
DS Extravagance is a red-leaning berry shade with purple and blue glitters, plus a ton of holographic glitters. The holographic effect is really impressive for a drugstore polish.
The formula on this shade was decent, but did require three coats of color due to some patchiness. Now that I’ve been introduced to the indie world, I would suggest looking for a berry holographic from an indie brand if you’re looking for a similar shade with a bit better quality. I know brands like ILNP and Cupcake Polish have some very similar shades with intense holographic. Back when I originally purchased this polish, this was a crazy unique shade for my collection!
