This month, Emily de Molly is bringing a beautiful gold magnetic to Polish Pickup!
New to Polish Pickup? Every month, PPU has a theme voted on by fans. Tons of indie makers then create a polish inspired by that theme. You can order as many shades from any maker participating that month for a flat rate of $3 shipping in the U.S. You can learn more about PPU on their website here! This month’s theme is horror movies, and this shade will be available from September 7-10th on the Polish Pickup website.
“Love Each Day” is a tan holographic with gold shimmer and a strong gold magnetic pull. This shade was based on the horror film “The Descent”.
This shade is absolutely stunning in the sun! This shade was perfectly opaque for me in two coats of polish. To get this tight magnetic effect, I used a polish magnet over the nail for the second coat of polish as well as the coat of glossy top coat. For best results, use the magnet over each nail one at a time, making sure the top layer of polish is still wet while you’re using the magnet. I typically hold the magnet above the wet polish for 20-30 seconds to be safe.
Here’s a shot of this shade in indirect light where you can see how strong that gold magnetic pull really is.
The polishes shown in this post were sent to me for free in exchange for swatching and my honest review. Thank you so much for reading!
