Today I have a new collection of six glorious shimmering shades from Ethereal Lacquer, as well as two additional shades that will be available for pre-order when this collection releases. Keep reading for swatches and information on eight polishes that will be available for pre-order from Ethereal Lacquer on January 12th at 11 AM through January 15th at 12 AM.
First up are the six shades from Ethereal’s latest collection. “Potion” has a bright purple jelly base and is full of red to green shifting shimmer. As you can see in the swatches below, the green shimmer is definitely noticeable against the purple base. I used two coats of polish for these swatches.
Next up is “Mind’s Eye”, a stunning flakie shade. Mind’s Eye is described as a medium turquoise jelly with pink to gold aurora shimmer and color shifting iridescent flakies. I absolutely love the bright pink shimmer against the turquoise jelly! This shade was also opaque in two coats of polish, but you can build up the opacity of the turquoise base with a third coat.
“Mysticism” is a beautiful multichrome that shifts from purple to blue to teal to fuchsia with a hint of gold, copper and green at extreme angles. I was so incredibly impressed with the multichrome effect in this shade; I could visibly see all of the different shifts and did my best to capture them all in my swatch photos as well! This shade was easily opaque in two coats of polish.
“Reverie” is a stunning foggy lilac purple that appears more lavender at some angles due to the strong blue shimmer. Again, I only needed two coats of polish for full opacity with this shade.
“Amulet” is a gorgeous flakie shade in a magenta purple jelly base. This shade is packed with aqua, green, violet, and cobalt iridescent flakes. I used three thin coats of polish of Amulet on its own, but it also makes for a stunning topper. Keep scrolling to see shots of Amulet over my favorite one-coater black from 1850 Artisan Polish, “Squid Ink”.
Finally, this is “Pendulum of Light”, a pale periwinkle jelly with bright coppery shimmer and aqua, green, and violet shifting iridescent flakes. This shade has a beautiful golden glow due to the copper shimmer. I used three thin coats of polish for my swatches.
One of Ethereal’s best selling top coats, “Bauble”, will also be re-stocked during the upcoming pre-order on January 12th! Bauble has a clear base packed with magical red to green to gold shifting shimmer. My swatches show two coats of Bauble over my favorite one coater black, “Squid Ink” from 1850 Artisan Polish.
Finally, the last polish I have to share today is “Cerise Au Chocolat”, a beautiful shade perfect for your vampy Valentine’s Day manicure! This polish is described as a chocolate cherry base with a red to green shifting shimmer. I used two coats of polish for these swatches.
