I had the pleasure of swatching this new trio plus a gorgeous topper from Cupcake Polish! This set will be available on February 11th on the Cupcake Polish website. The Free Spirit trio is limited edition and will not be restocked once they are sold out. The special effect topper will be added to Cupcake Polish’s regular range.
First up is “Secret Ingredient”, the new special effect topper. This shade is a combination of red/bronze/gold/green shifting aurora pigment and a linear holographic effect. My swatches show one coat of Secret Ingredient over my favorite one-coat black from 1850 Artisan Polish, as well as two coats of Secret Ingredient over my ring finger.
Next up is the Free Spirit trio, beginning with “Day Dream”, my personal favorite! Day Dream is an aqua blue shade packed with a heavy pink shimmer and holographic micro glitter. This shade was opaque in two coats of polish and the shimmer as well as holographic effect are simply stunning!
Next up is “Wanderer”, a medium purple polish packed with heavy gold to green shifting shimmer and holographic microglitter. This shade was also opaque in two easy coats of polish. In person, the gold to green shifting shimmer appeared primarily green on my nails; I love the way the green looks paired up with the purple base!
Lastly is “Wild & Free”, a beautiful berry pink polish packed with heavy blue shimmer and holographic microglitter. Again, this shade was opaque in two coats of polish and is absolutely stunning on the nail!
The polishes shown in this post were sent to me for free in exchange for swatching and my honest review. Thank you so much for reading!
