New to Hella Handmade Creations? Every month, HHC offers exclusive polishes from your favorite indie nail polish brands during a week-long pre-sale. The March pre-sale will be open from March 14th at 12:01 AM EST until March 21 at 11:59 PM Hawaiian on Hella Handmade Creations’ website. You can buy as many polishes as you want during the pre-sale. Each brand participating in HHC has picked their own theme to create specially inspired polishes.
Nail Hoot was inspired by Desperate Housewives to create “Edie”, which has a black base and is filled with fine holographic glitters, pink shimmer, and sultry pops of red glitter. This shade was opaque in two coats of color and will be $9.99 with no cap.
Ms Sparkle was inspired by vintage toys to create “Polly Pocket”, which was one of my all-time favorite childhood toys! Polly Pocket is a pink crelly with aqua sparks, holographic microflakies, chameleon glitters, iridescent flakies, and a mix of turquoise holographic glitters. This shade was opaque in two coats of polish. This polish will retial for $11.00 and has no cap.
Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer was inspired by female rocker Kathleen Hanna to create “Riot Grrrl”. This shade has a darkened periwinkle creme base with blue/purple/red shifting pigment, red shimmer, and rose pink sparks. My swatches show this shade in two coats of polish. This shade will retail for $12.50 and has a cap of 50 bottles of polish.
Chirality was inspired by Doctor Who to create “Impossible Girl”. This one coater has a wine red base and is loaded with ruby shimmer, gold to green color shifting shimmer, and multiple types of holographic silver microglitter. This shade will retail for $11.00 and has no cap.
DRK Nails was inspired by Mary Poppins to create this magnetic duo. “The Cover is Not the Book” is a green/teal magnetic with iridescent flakies. “Practically Perfect” is a pink magnetic with iridescent flakies. In my swatch photos for both top coats, the polishes are shown in one coat over my favorite one-coat black (“Squid Ink” from 1850 Artisan Polish) on all nails except the thumb and ring fingers, where the polishes are shown on their own with two coats of polish. This duo will be $17.50 for both shades and has a cap of 100.
Sayuri Nail Lacquer was inspired by ice cream to create “Melt Down”. This creamy vanilla bean shade has a scattered holographic effect and a strong violet shimmer. My swatches show this shade in three thin coats of polish. Melt Down will retail for $13.50 and has a cap of 60 bottles.
Ethereal Lacquer was inspired by mythological creatures to create “Nymph Wings”. This polish has a sheer purple base packed full of red/green/pink/gold shifting shimmer with copper/pink/green shifting iridescent flakies. As you can see in the photos below, the shifting shimmer in this shade is absolutely beautiful! My swatches show this shade in two coats of color. Nymph Wings will be $12.50 and has no cap.
Turtle Tootsie was inspired by The Beatles to create “George”, a red-leaning hot pink holographic with purple shimmer plus blue and purple UCC flakies. My swatches show this shade in two coats of polish. This polish will retail for $11.00 and has a cap of 75 bottles.
Femme Fatale was inspired by Stephen King to create “Inhuman Monsters”, which has a blackened blue-toned base with a mild red magnetic effect, silver holographic, and green/orange/red shifting iridescent flakies. My swatches show this polish in two coats of color. This shade will retail for $14.00 not including a magnet and has no cap.
Grace-full Nail Polish was inspired by DC character Raven to create “Mistress of Magic”, a vibrant sapphire blue linear holographic with aurora shimmer. This shade was opaque in two coats of color for me. Mistress of Magic will retail for $12.00 and has a cap of 80 bottles.
Mckfresh Nail Attire was inspired by Pokemon to create “Instinct”. This thermal polish transitions from buttery yellow to a dark grey-leaning green and has gold, black, and iridescent glitters and flakies. This shade prefers to be in the warm state, but transitions to the cold state in colder temperatures. My swatches show this shade in two coats of color.
