Ethereal Lacquer “Alaskan” and “Kushtaka” PPU + IPU October 2019

Ethereal Lacquer has two new exclusive shades that will be available during Polish Pickup this month! The first polish is the Polish Pickup contribution and the second topper is the Indie Pickup contribution. Both polishes will be available from October 4th through 7th on the Polish Pickup website.

New to Polish Pickup? Every month, PPU has a theme voted on by fans. Tons of indie makers then create a polish inspired by that theme. You can order as many shades from any maker participating that month for a flat rate of $3 shipping in the U.S. You can learn more about PPU on their website here! This month’s theme is “urban legends”, and this shade will be available from October 4-7th on the Polish Pickup website.

First up is “Alaskan”, the Polish Pickup contribution that was inspired by the Alaskan triangle. This shade is a dark sapphire blue with color shifting flakies that shift from teal to violet. My swatches show this shade in two coats of polish. Alaskan will be available for $12.50 during the PPU window.

“Kushtaka” is the IPU contribution that was inspired by mythical creatures of the same name. This colorshifting effect topper has a light base and is packed with red/copper/green shifting shimmer. My swatches show this shade in one coat over a black creme base and in two coats over my bare nail. Kushtaka will be available for $12.50 during the PPU/IPU window.

In this swatch you can see Kushtaka as a topper over Alaskan on my first two nails, as well as Alaskan by itself on my bottom two nails.

The polishes shown in this post were sent to me for free in exchange for swatching and my honest review. Thank you so much for reading!
