Ethereal Lacquer “Persephone” HHC April 2020

Ethereal Lacquer begins a brand new theme with Hella Handmade Creations this month: Greek Mythology. I’m especially excited for this theme because I’m a huge fan of Broadway musical “Hadestown”, which tells the stories of many Greek Gods and Goddesses, including Persephone!

New to Hella Handmade Creations? Every month, HHC offers exclusive polishes from your favorite indie nail polish brands during a week-long pre-sale. The April pre-sale will be open from April 14th at 12:01 AM EST until April 21 at 11:59 PM Hawaiian on Hella Handmade Creations’ website.  You can buy as many polishes as you want during the pre-sale. Each brand participating in HHC has picked their own theme to create specially inspired polishes.

“Persephone” is a brightened juicy pomegranate red with a fiery red to copper shifting shimmer. My swatches show this shade in 2 smooth coats of polish. This shade will be available for $12.50 with no cap during the Hella Handmade Creations pre-order.

Here’s a shot of “Persephone” in direct sunlight taken on my iPhone. As you can see here, the copper shimmer in this shade is absolutely stunning.

Here’s one last shot of “Persephone” along with the red Hadestown carnation which is handed out to fans of the musical at the backstage door on Broadway!

The polish shown in this post was sent to me for free in exchange for swatching and my honest review. Thank you so much for reading!
