R&P Jewelry PPU May 2020

I’m so excited to branch beyond nail polish and show you a beautiful ring coming to Polish Pickup from R&P Jewelry! This dainty opal ring would make a beautiful addition to your jewelry tray.

New to Polish Pickup? Every month, PPU has a theme voted on by fans. Tons of indie makers then create a polish inspired by that theme. You can order as many shades from any maker participating that month for a flat rate of $3 shipping in the U.S. You can learn more about PPU on their website here! This month’s theme is “Candy Land”, and this shade will be available from May 1-4th on the Polish Pickup website.

R&P Jewelry maker Brittany was inspired by the colors of the opal stone to create this ring.

This ring has a 4mm simulated opal stone set on a 16 gauge sterling silver twisted band. This ring will be available for $15.00 with a cap of 25 rings. It is available in size 7.

A lot goes into creating this piece: aftering measuring and cutting the band, it must be soldered into a circle, filed, sanded, and shaped into a perfect circle. Then, the bezel is soldered onto the ring and filed and sanded once more. After the ring is sanded and tumbled, the opal stone is set into place before one final polish.

The products shown in this post were sent to me for free in exchange for swatching and my honest review. The nail polish shown in this blog post is “Dead or Alive” from Emily de Molly.
